Manufacturers and distributors of electric scooters have every reason to rejoice as the sales figures for these environmentally friendly models are a great success.
New registrations of electric scooters in Switzerland have shown double-digit growth in the last three years (1).
These figures reveal a very strong dynamism in the electric scooter segment with very significant growth potential. In fact, the scooter segment as a whole represents an average of around 18,000 registrations per year in Switzerland.
With 8% of the total number of scooter registrations, the electric scooter segment has a bright future ahead in the Swiss Confederation.

- 1,066 for the year 2019 (+49%)
- 1,437 for the past year 2020 (+35%)
